Egyptians
Your goal with Egypt is to help Queen Nefertiti to grow a humble town into bustling metropolis worthy of the gods! Much like with the Vikings, and Feudal Japan, your job is to gather resources and build up a city outpost, using cultural goods along the way. However, Cultural Settlements Egypt comes with some significant twists! The gods are displeased with the heretical neighboring cities, and have tasked you to show your faith by defeating them in combat.
Egyptians Goods and Resources
For the Egyptians, you will need to gather new goods to progress, and you will also have new resources available to help you on your way: If you collected enough resources, you're either able to unlock new buildings for the Egyptians Settlements or expansions.
Egyptians

These are the equivalent to population in your main city. You need them to build certain buildings. |
Diplomacy
|
Shows the amount of trust you have gained among the Egyptians. This is needed to unlock new buildings from this culture. |
Deben Coins
|
Deben is used to produce Troops and can be collected from residential buildings as well as some Diplomacy buildings. You start each Egyptian Settlement with 8000 Deben Coins. |
Loot
|
Loot is used to produce Cultural Goods and can be won, when you complete a battle from the great pyramid. |
Barley |
Egyptians good, that is produced by a Grain Farm |
Pottery |
Egyptians good, that is produced by a Pottery |
Flowers |
Egyptians good, that is produced by a Flower Farm |
Sacrificial Offering |

Kamp_pladsen
Unlocking the Kamppladsen is simple, just finish the first 3 quests in the Ancient Egyptian settlement, and you'll then be able to access the Siege Camp by clicking on the Pyramid in the outskirts of your city.

Impediments
As always, Impediments will restrict your building area making each settlement a puzzle! Buildings must be placed around impediments, as these can't be moved or removed. With each instance of a new Settlement the impediments will be rearranged, adding an extra layer of difficulty to organizing the settlement. However, we've got something new for Egypt! Impediments can now be removed from your settlement, using Pickaxes. Pickaxes can be found by completing the Egyptian questline, or purchased by using Diamonds. Once you have a pickaxe, open build mode, and click on the impediment you want to remove, then select if you want to use Diamonds for the removal, or one from your stock aquired from quests. Be careful, though, there are a limited number of pickaxes available both for purchase, and free in the questline.

Rewards
Royal Bathhouse and Ancient Obelisk
For the Egypt Settlement, you will receive Lvl. 1 Royal Bathhouse the first time you complete the settlement. Upgrade kits can then be won on some of the subsequent completions of the settlement. Additionally, you can win fragments for a Ancient Obelisk. The number of fragments you will win is based on how quickly you complete the settlement!
